WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE !!
I'm excited to be working with your child this year. I have taught fourth grade in the Mahtomedi School District since 1994. I received a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my elementary licensure and master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Thomas. In 2006 I received a certificate in Environmental Education from Hamline University. I enjoy adventure stories, writing, sketching, and learning new things.

I live in Woodbury and my son, Joshua, lives in Saint Paul. We love doing outdoors stuff. Some noteworthy ways of spending time together are sitting by a bonfire, walking, biking, canoeing, skiing, hiking, and visiting relatives.

Josh graduated from the University of Saint Thomas this spring. He loves lacrosse and was an attacker for the UST lacrosse team. He also coaches the Mahtomedi boys junior varsity and is offensive assistant for the varsity lacrosse teams. You may notice some of his pictures in my classroom, room 28 of the Fourth Grade Wing.

Our favorite places to visit are North Dakota, the North Shore and Upper Peninsula of Lake Superior, Colorado, Idaho, and Wisconsin.

I am looking forward to another fantastic school year! 2018-2019 will be a blast at O.H. Anderson Elementary School!
