4th and 5th Grade Choir Families:

Every year the OH Anderson Choir is invited to sing the National Anthem at a Minnesota Twins game.  For the last two years, the choir has not been meeting so it has been open to all 5th graders.  With the return of the choirs we have returned to having just the 4th and 5th grade choir students participate in singing the National Anthem.  Here are the details for the game this year.

We will be singing the National Anthem on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.  The game begins at 12:10 PM.  This is a much different date than we usually have. However, the Twins have changed their home game schedule and that has shifted our usual dates.  I hope everyone that is interested in attending will have time in their schedule.

Students will need to arrive by 11:00 AM.  More information about arrival and meeting place will be coming soon.  Tickets for the game are in the Home Run Porch View area of the stadium; That is the upper deck level in left field (sections 329 and 330). We also have access to the area right in front of that which is section 229.  The Twins will be playing the Milwaukee Brewers. Tickets are $12 each for sections 329 and 330 and $25 for section 229. This is where the Twins put all of the group sales people. You are welcome to purchase tickets in other parts of the stadium on your own. You may purchase as many tickets and invite as many family members as you like. However, only choir students will be allowed on the field to sing the National Anthem.

Everyone needs to buy a ticket; this includes students singing the National Anthem.  Tickets are purchased directly from the Minnesota Twins.  Ticket sales will begin after spring training has ended. I will send a link to all choir members at that time so you may order tickets. You will need to provide transportation to and from the game for your choir member and your family. Parents will be responsible for the supervision of your student after the National Anthem and during the game.

These are the details I have currently.  I will send more information when the portal to order tickets is opened to us.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
