Thanks for stopping by!

Hello!
Welcome!  I've been in the district as an Autism Resource Specialist/Speech Pathologist since 2009, and have been a Speech Language Pathologist in MN schools since 1999. I enjoy working with students, families, & staff to develop strategies and skills in the areas of social communication (greetings, conversation, emotion awareness, social problem solving), and speech/language development.

My husband, kids, and I love Mahtomedi.  I enjoy photography, spending time outdoors, and scrapbooking during my free time. I am organized and creative by nature, so teaching is a fun place for me to be!

I received my undergraduate degree from UW-River Falls in 1997 and my Masters from UW-Whitewater in 1999. I am nationally certified as a Speech Language Pathologist, and hold a state teaching license as well in MN. I received my Autism Certificate through Hamline University in July 2012, and received my Special Education Teacher: Autism Spectrum Disorders Licensure at St. Thomas University.

Please feel free to contact me with comments, questions, and ideas!
